Christ. If I am indeed a Christian, then no one's words would
trump that of Jesus Christ! He is Boss over all! If I don't think
He's boss over all, then how can I call myself a Christian? A
Christian is a Christ-follower, but I had labeled myself a
Christian in the past when I did not know Christ. I did not
have the Holy Spirit dwelling in me. I was not saved. I did not
change before. I did not have the fruits of the Holy Spirit
before. I did not experience any change as a child when I was
water baptized or when I received confirmation. Instead, I
repented at the age of 38 after hearing the gospel of truth,
like Ephesians 1:13 KJV states, “In whom ye also trusted,
after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your
salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were
sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”
However, I went to another mass, but I couldn’t stop
crying, so I had to leave. I had been scared that God was going
to be mad at me for leaving mass, but He wasn't mad. I began
praying for God to show me where to go to church. I heard a
thought run through my mind, “Remember that church
you’ve driven by for years and have always felt an urge to
attend? Go to that church.” I had remembered in reading
Gondwe's deliverance book to look for a church whose
leaders and members showed the fruits of The Holy Spirit.
