I began craving fruit and started cleaning my

apartment. I kept changing. I didn’t know where to go to
church, so I went to a Catholic mass and a woman giving
announcements had mentioned that the Catholic teachings
were equal to that of the Bible. From reading the Bible, I
found out that many of the Roman Catholic Church’s

teachings were different than the biblical teachings of Jesus
Christ and His first apostles, which includes Apostle Peter.
The doctrine set out in the Letters of Peter in the New
Testament are a source of truth, but it differs from the

Catholic Church on some vital issues. I was surprised to find
the truth to be better! I had to repent of self-rule, but I didn't
have to 'be good first' or try to earn grace. I'm not supposed
to walk around feeling guilty after receiving the Holy Spirit
because it is Him who frees me from being a slave to sin and

who gives me joy! I'm supposed to have joy and peace. The
word gospel means “good news.”

Also, in examining Jesus Christ's character, we still
need to look at the Old Testament to understand God (since
Christ is God and is One with the Father), but those who trust
and follow Jesus Christ are now under the New Covenant.

Many churches are filled with false teachings (errors) these
days, so it can be difficult to find a bible-based church that
holds to proper doctrine.

I decided that I would trust Jesus Christ over anyone,
since He is God. I had been following false doctrine, and my
own selfish desires instead of seeking and following Jesus
