See section 22 for details of FMG accident management services.18 VEHICLE CAREEmployees who have a vehicle under the company vehicle policy have a responsibility to take good care of theirvehicle. Employees should routinely check the following:%u2022 Oil, AdBlue, water and anti-freeze levels if applicable.N.B. If an employee is eligible for a fuel card, oil can be purchased against the card. If not, oil is to be purchased and claimed back via expenses. %u2022 Abbott%u2019s expectation is you should check your Tyre pressures and tread depth a minimum of once per week.The Company will pay for all standard servicing and maintenance associated with the Company car. However, the Company reserves the right to seek reimbursement from drivers for maintenance and repair costs resulting from driver misuse or negligence, i.e. incorrect fuel, failure to maintain sufficient oil, flood damage etc.Employees are also liable for any damage to company vehicles that has arisen due to negligence. Examples of a negligent act will include damage to a company vehicle parked on a construction site, attracting vandalism byleaving valuables exposed, loss of car keys or any other damage to the vehicle caused by neglect and carelessness.Any concerns that do not appear to have been rectified by the servicing garage should be reported immediately to Arval.We would remind all Company Vehicle/FCAP drivers there is no-smoking/vaping in vehicles.19 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND SERVICINGArval has an approved list of service and maintenance garages. All vehicles must be booked in for service or maintenance via the Arval Driver Helpline or via Arval%u2019s Internet site which will prompt you to enter your log in details.The authorised garage undertaking the service will provide a collection/delivery service from the employee%u2019s home/business address or provide a courtesy vehicle. Bookings must be made a minimum of 3-6 weeks inadvance, to ensure a courtesy vehicle or the collection/delivery service is available. Under no circumstances will Abbott authorise a daily hire vehicle for routine maintenance or service.It is the responsibility of the employee to ensure their vehicle is regularly serviced in accordance with the manufacturers service schedules or the warranty will be invalid.
