Again, we would urge you to follow section 29.1 in order to avoidbeing wrongly charged for damage. On arrival at Arval%u2019s de-fleet centre the vehicle will be inspected in line with the BVRLA fair wear and tear standard. There may be a different circumstance where the delivery includes a Tesla/Polestar or Genesis vehicle as this will not be a key for key collection, Please ensure Arval are made aware of a new Tesla/Polestar/Genesis delivery so that arrangements can be made to collect your old vehicle. These manufacturers DO NOT inform Arval of the delivery, therefore the employee must inform them.Where the returning vehicle is a mid-term or short-term rental key for key collections will also not apply. The dealer will deliver the new vehicle, and the driver must arrange collection of the rental at approximately the same time. Please note you as the driver are responsible for arranging this in order to avoid being taxed for two vehicles and incurring unnecessary costs to the Company by having two vehicles.29.3 RE-CHARGESArval will re-charge the damage costs for any return vehicle where fair wear and tear standards havenot been adhered to.
