                                    21 May 2025 Abbott UK Company Car Handbook27.2 CAMERA FINES (SPEEDING ETC.)Where a driver commits an offence that is %u2018caught%u2019 on camera, Arval receives a notification from the issuing authority. Arval will then refer the notification immediately back to the issuing authority providing the driver%u2019s name and address, as these are notices of intended prosecution and must be dealt with by the person driving only. The driver will be expected to pay the cost of the fine plus an administration fee of %u00a312.50.Please note: Drivers are required to inform their Line Manager and FMG Risk Management if they have been issued with a notice of intention to prosecute once they know the outcome of the prosecution.27.3 BUS LANE AND NON-PAYMENT OF CONGESTION AND DART CHARGEIt is the employee%u2019s responsibility to understand the restrictions on congestion charges where they apply.Arval is obliged by the issuing authority to pay these fines immediately and then re-charge this back toAbbott with an administration fee. The driver will then be re-billed the cost of the fine plus the administration fee of %u00a312.50.All fines and administration fees relating to the above offences will be deducted from the employee%u2019ssalary.Should there be a dispute regarding any of the above offences, it is the driver%u2019s responsibility to resolve the problem directly with the issuing authority. Fines and charges will be reimbursed if their claim is successful - please note this can be a time-consuming process both to challenge and then to provide the evidence to Arval to initiate the refund in the event of a successful claim.
