Abbott UK specific legitimate interest is to protect its company assets (i.e. the company vehicles), reduce costs associated the loss or theft of a company vehicle, and protect Drivers and passengers of the company vehicle.33.9 WHO WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE DATA COLLECTED BY THE TELEMATICS DEVICE?You, The DriverThe Driver will be able to access and view their data online via the FMG platform, the details of which will be provided to each Driver. The Driver will have access to all the data (Events Data and Summary Data) collected in relation to their vehicle only, which includes data relating to the usage of that vehicle by any other authorised driver. Please note that all journeys are recorded as being personal journeys by default. Drivers are required to access their accounts on the FMG platform in order to indicate which journeys are business. This can be amended on the trip page of the FMG platform and should be updated at least on a weekly basis in time for the payroll deadline.TrakM8Although TrakM8, as the operator of the telematics device, has access to all of the data categories listed in section 33.4 above, TrakM8 does not have the information to identify any Drivers.TDS FMG instructs TDS Ultra Limited as a Sub processor to provide a web based portal with agreed authorised access. Where FMG are referenced within this document it is referring to TDS. FMG do not collect or store any data themselves. FMGThe amount of data FMG has access to is based on a number of factors such as the journey score and whether or not the trip is a business journey. Where no events are registered within a journey FMG can only see the summary of data for that journey (date, time, duration, distance, vehicle registration).Where events are present within a journey FMG can additionally see start location, end location and detail of the events that have occurred (location, time, type of event, over speed value, G force, severity). ABBOTTFMG provides Abbott (payroll) with a report each month of total mileage for both business and personal journeys per Driver. This is for tax reporting purposes. It is therefore important that Drivers log in to the FMG Indicate platform at least weekly to update each journey to accurately reflect whether it was a business or personal journey.Other than each Abbott Driver%u2019s access to their own driving information, Abbott does not have access to the FMG platform. FMG will notify Line Manager of driver who has breached the above triggers (see the table in section 33.7 above for information on these triggers). Such information will only be available to the Line Manager or Appointed Investigator for the purposes of reviewing a Driver%u2019s behaviour in the course of an investigation.In order to comply with HMRC%u2019s auditing requirement on business travel, Abbott payroll will perform a sampling exercise on a proportion of the fleet each quarter. The Payroll team will contact selected individuals to provide the detailed breakdown for the chosen period to support the audit process. THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERSOther third parties, such as hosting providers and operators of disaster recovery sites, will also receive the personal data collected by the telematics device for the purpose of hosting the FMG and TrakM8 systems. None of the Drivers%u2019 personal data is shared with insurers or used for marketing purposes.
