                                    32 May 2025 Abbott UK Company Car Handbook33.7 THE TELEMATICS SCORING SYSTEMThe table below shows the actions FMG will take in relation to Ultra scores which is calculated by the system using driver behaviour and accident history data.TRIGGER SCENARIO ACTIONT1 Driver ends the month with Red or Amber Ultra Score Red = 7.5/10 or less A driver has the responsibility to log in and review their driving behaviour and ultra score monthly, therefore if you are scoring below 7.5 and meeting trigger 1, you are advised to review your behaviour weekly to improve your ultra score and prevent further intervention from FMG T2 Drivers with 100+ speeding/driving events per 1000 milesFMG Risk Solutions team to call the 30 highest risk drivers to coach them on how to reduce on-road risk.T3 Drivers who have hit T2 for 3 consecutive months Drivers are contacted by the Fleet Coordinator to attend an FMG Accident Prevention Workshop which is mandatoryT4 Any speeding events over 80mph (over 10 times in one month)Data analysed and drivers considered most at risk will be contacted by FMGT5 FMG report on a monthly basis to the BHR any employee whose speed is in excess of 99 mph. FMG do not share details of the journey, just that a specific speed has been attained and the date that this occurredwith the approximate location.BHR will send a letter to the employee concerned, informing them of the date of the infraction and the speed recorded and remind them of the possible consequences relating to a possible ban from driving by the courts and the necessity to adhere to the road traffic act speed limitsT6 Drivers who have not logged into FMG Indicate Portal for 1 monthFMG will email the drivers and provide details to BHR and Fleet CoordinatorBeyond this any infractions considered serious will be escalated and dealt with by BHR in accordance with the normal disciplinary procedures33.8 WHAT ARE THE LAWFUL BASES FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED BY THE TELEMATICS DEVICE?Abbott UK, as the controller, is responsible under the GDPR for ensuring there is a lawful basis for processing the personal data captured by the telematics device. The lawful bases for Abbott UK%u2019s processing of Driver%u2019s personal data are:%u2022 for the purpose set out in 33.5a) above %u2013 to comply with Abbott UK%u2019s legal obligations to HMRC%u2022 for the purpose set out in 33.5 b) above - because the processing is necessary to achieve legitimate interests pursued by Abbott UK. Abbott UK%u2019s specific legitimate interests are to ensure the safety of its employees and any passengers; to ensure the safety of other drivers and pedestrians; to avoid any increases in insurance premium costs; to protect company assets (i.e. the company vehicles) and minimise repair costs; and to reduce carbon emissions;%u2022 for the purpose set out in 33.5 g) above %u2013 to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
