4 May 2025 Abbott UK Company Car Handbook1 INTRODUCTIONThis Company Car Driver Handbook details the options available to employees who are eligible for a Company Car and the rules and conditions under which these options operate, in accordance with the Local Vehicle Policy, UK PUR - PO-02. This Handbook is effective from April 2025 and supersedes any previous versions.This Driver Handbook should be read in conjunction with the Business Use of Company & Private Vehicles Procedure (UKEHS-PR-T07), which is available throughISOTRAIN/METRO or your divisional Learning Management System (LMS).The Company reserves the right to review and/or amend the Company Car Driver Handbook if there should be changes to its local vehicle policy. It is the driver%u2019s responsibility to review the Driver Handbook from time to time. Additionally, the Company reserves the right to remove the benefit (inclusive of Field Force Car Allowance (FCAP) or the utilisation of a Company Car) from anyindividual drivers that fail to observe the Company Car Driver Handbook and EHS Policies which include the Business Use of Company & Private Vehicles Procedure (UKEHS-PR-T07).Company cars are allocated, at the Company%u2019s discretion, to either meet a business need for an employee to be mobile or to meet a benefit requirement where it is market practice that cars are a typical part of the job%u2019s benefits package. The scheme has been designed to provide a range of cars suitable to meet both of these requirements.
