The cities of Dublin and CorkYour holiday begins in Holyhead. Meeting the Tour Manager, we board the ferry to Dublin and check in to our hotel. On Day 2, we travel by rail to Cork. From here, we head to Midleton for a tour of the historic Jameson whiskey distillery. After learning about the production of whiskey in Ireland, we enjoy a tasting. Returning to Cork we explore the %u2018Rebel City%u2019 on a guided tour before checking in to our hotel. Delving into the rich folklore of Ireland on Day 3, we travel by coach to explore Blarney Castle. Our next stop is Molly Gallivans Visitor Centre, a 200-year-old cottage and traditional farm. We%u2019re guided around before tea and scones followed by a tasting of poit%u00edn %u2013 Irish moonshine. Then, arriving in Killarney, we check in to our hotel.Days 4-6. On Day 5, we head north to the Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum to explore the history of transatlantic flights. Next, we take the ferry from Tarbert across the Shannon to Clare. Our coach then takes us to Doolin for a boat trip to see the Cliffs of Moher from below. In Galway, we check in to our hotel. We visit Kylemore Abbey on Day 6 before boarding the Connemara Railway for a round trip with tea and scones.Days 7-9. Discovering Dublin & homeward boundWe journey to Dublin by rail and enjoy an orientation tour by coach.
