(ii) Permanent Total Disablement and (iii) Permanent
Partial Disablement - the WC Act contains a list of
insurance which are deemed to result in permanent
total disablement and, and partial disablement. In
either case, the quantum of compensation is
calculated on the basis of the loss of earning capacity
with the stated in the Act in terms of percentage.
(iv) Temporary Disablement - where the injury results
in temporary disablement (total or partial), the
compensation payable is in terms of half monthly

according to the monthly wages drawn by the injured
workman.
