Disease Surveillance

The development of the Veterinary APP is advanced, and will be launched
at the PVS AGM in October.

Galley Waste (Harbour) Inspections
Planned for November this year.

Welfare Working Committee
There have been no communications with SPCA on ear-notching in the past
3 months. Our research into ear notching is continuing.

Compensation
Workshops and discussion between DAFF and NAHF are ongoing.

Animal Identification Registration and Traceability (AIRT)
A significant number of producers have registered with GS1 system.

Pork 360
Annual certification audits are being done currently. We have asked that
they be conducted before end of November so that we can publish list of
accredited farms by early January 2020.

All units that are registered with Woolworths’ program and 10% of PnP only
registered farms are also being audited at the same time.
