Rules Governing Lakewood Country Club
ARTICLE I
Section 1. The Clubhouse is under the supervision of the General Manager, and will be
open daily for the times published in the newsletter and on the website or at the discretion
of the General Manager, except for Mondays, unless a holiday or other special occasion
falling on a Monday makes it advisable to open. Members desiring special meals are
required to give the General Manager at least 72 hours’ notice. Beverage service in no
event shall be extended beyond the hours allowed by State of Colorado and City of
Lakewood laws and ordinances. Members and their guests are not permitted to spend the
night. For special parties or other events, the Clubhouse or portions thereof may be closed
to Member usage by those not attending the event.
Section 2. Spouses, significant others, unmarried children under the age of 25 years who
reside in the immediate household of Resident, Company Resident, Senior Resident, Pre-
Resident, Company Pre-Resident, Special Resident, Non-Resident, Associate, Honorary
Spouse, Honorary, Golf Social and House Social Members are entitled to the privileges of
the Clubhouse without charge, subject to the provisions of the By-Laws and rules pertaining
to Clubhouse privileges. Members shall register the names of their spouses, significant
others and children with the Club office. A Member may register a child caregiver with the
Club office solely for the purpose of supervising the Member's child(ren) at the swimming
pool. Persons enjoying privileges under this section shall sign checks in his or her own
name, with the Member's number.
Section 3. Payment for Members' monthly statements is due to the accounting office by
the last day of the month following the date of the statement. A Member becomes
delinquent on the first day of the following month. A $100 late fee will be assessed on this
day. If the past due portion of a Member's account has not been paid by the 15th of the
month, an additional $200 late fee will be assessed. If a Member is again late within six
months from the date of the first late fee assessed above (including continued non-payment
of the bill that initially triggered a late fee), then in that event the late fee shall be $200 if not
paid on the first day of the following month, and an additional late fee of $300 will be
charged if not paid by the 15 day of the month. If the Member is late for a third time

within six months following the second late period, then in that event that Member shall be
assessed a $500 late fee. Notwithstanding the above, a Member who is delinquent in his or
her account twice during any six-month period shall be considered in chronic delinquency
status. A chronically delinquent Member may be subject to disciplinary action by the Board
of Directors, including suspension or expulsion from the Club, in accordance with Article X
of the By-Laws. Please refer to the By-Laws, Article IX, sections 3 and 4, for further detail
on the policy regarding delinquency.
Section 4. For food and beverage service, the Member will be presented with a final bill to
sign at the end of service. If a bill is not presented, it is the responsibility of the Member to
request a final bill. If a Member does not request and/or does not sign a final bill, it is
assumed the Member will forfeit the right to dispute the bill on his or her monthly
statement.
