1. Make sure the indicator is in Gross Mode.
2. Press the Cal button. Security Code (SEC CD) is displayed.
3. Press the Enter button. A flashing zero (0) appears.
4. Enter the security code number (5321).
5. Press Enter. The word UNIT appears. Note the three LEDs (Zero
Track, Motion, and CTR Zero) start to flash on the left side of the
Status display.
The quick hard calibration should be used when the indicator
has already been properly calibrated and when the system is
determined to be out of specification, or periodic scheduled
calibration.
6. The procedures must be done in the Gross Mode.
7. The procedures calibrate the zero and span functions only.
8. From the CAL Sub-Menu, press the Enter button. The Hard
Calibration Sub-Menu HD CAL display appears.
9. Press the Enter button. The Zero sub-menu ZERO appears.
10. Press the Enter button. A dash “- - -“ appears.
11. Remove all live load from the scale so that the load cell input is
at its lowest reading.
! Press the -/Tst/Clr button. An “0" appears.
12. Wait 12 seconds.
13. Press the Enter button.
14. Press the -/Tst/Clr button to clear any displayed value.
! Press the Enter button.
15. The Zero is set and the Span sub-menu SPAN appears.
16. Place a test weight (preferably a weight equal to 80% to 100%
of the range of the scale) on the scale to bring the load cell
input to full range.
17. Wait 12 seconds.
18. Press the Enter button. A dash “- - -“ appears.
19. Press the -/Tst/Clr button to clear any displayed value.
20. Use the numeric keys to enter the test weight.
21. Press the Enter button to set the span value. The LINCOR submenu
appears.
22. Remove the weight from the scale.
23. Press the up arrow 8. The RETURN display appears.
24. Press the Enter button.. The ENDCAL display appears.
25. Press the Enter button to exit the Calibration menu.
