Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to familiarize you with three (3) section of the of wood
Learning Outcomes – Upon completion of this exercise you should be able to:
- determine type of different section of the wood samples
- identify wood structure using the basic techniques for describing and sampling woods
- classify wood samples according to common names, scientific name and family name
Instruction: Illustrate the three section of the woods, identify and label the parts
