Personality, Competencies, Wellbeing
The decisive factor is the fit or matching. Managers and
employees act more resiliently and perform better in a crisis, and
the company itself becomes more crisis-resistant and successful if
there is a match in these three areas:
• Matching between the personality of a manager or
employee and the personality development opportunities in
the company: People enjoy working for the company because
their personality structure and the company's framework
conditions are compatible.
• Matching between the existing and (from the company's point
of view) required competencies of managers and employees:
They have precisely the competencies with which they can
make a substantial contribution to achieving the company's
goals. This makes both sides happy - the company as well as
managers and employees.
• Matching with regard to the well-being factor, i.e., well-being,
satisfaction, sense of purpose, and the value system: In
particular, because the value system of the company and that
of the people match, they feel good at work - the well-being
factor increases. Mental health and the health of the people
are thus promoted. Another important aspect: By recording
the potential mental hazards and impairments, it is possible
to quickly analyze the areas in which there is an acute need
for action and in which support for managers and employees
is required.
