Profiling³ is based on three core questions:
• Profiling¹: "Who am I?" (Self-knowledge)
• Profiling²: "What makes others tick?" (Knowledge of human nature)
• Profiling³: "What do I make of it?" (Application of self-
knowledge and knowledge of human nature in combination
with personality analyses in concrete interview situations).
These core questions structure our book: After we have
• explained the basics of the approach in chapter 1,
• In chapters 2 to 4, we deal with these three core
questions, in order to finally
• describe the benefits of Profiling³ in three areas of
application in chapters 5 to 7, namely sales, management
and recruiting, so that you can use the concept profitably in
your respective area of responsibility.
By the way: We, the authors, have published this book together,
as a duo. Nevertheless, we want to contribute our respective
individual experiences. Of course, we are also unique
individuals with different backgrounds of experience. In order
to be able to report on our respective personal experiences in
our joint book, we leave the "we" position at some points and
meet you as individuals to tell you stories from our respective
worlds of experience - you will find these marked with a
