WABASH CROSSING

The Wabash Crossing project, built for East Lake/Decatur Rental IL, LP, included
the multi-phased, new construction of a 535,852 square foot multifamily
residential neighborhood located in Decatur, Illinois. The community consists of
650 units housed in two-story duplexes, fourplexes, and townhomes for lower
income and multi-generational families to rent or buy in the Near-North Hope
VI Redevelopment area. The multifamily residential homes were constructed
utilizing a wood structural frame and brick exterior. The project also featured
Americans with Disabilities Act compliant homes with concrete decks, a mixed-
use town center with community areas for seniors and children, green spaces, and
playgrounds. Due to CORE’s construction efforts, the Wabash Crossing project
now provides an affordable housing option to lower income families.
