DUVAL PARK APARTMENTS

The Duval Park Apartments project, built for Duval Park, LTD, included the new construction of
a two-story 92,315 square foot apartment complex located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The facility
houses 15 separate buildings with 84 apartment units for veterans. The apartment complex was
constructed on a post-tensioned slab on grade concrete foundation with a wood structural
frame. An exterior of cement board and Hardie plank siding and a roof of pre-engineered wood
truss and asphalt shingle completed the construction. The project also featured a clubhouse
with fitness center, swimming pool with sunning deck and cabana, and a playground as well as
dumpster enclosures, mail kiosks, gated entrance, and new landscaping. Due to CORE’s residential
construction experience, the Dual Park Apartments project now offers affordable permanent
support housing to veterans and their families.
