Employee Expenses
Employees submitting receipts for personally incurred Company expenses have two (2) months from the date of
the incurred expense in which to submit their expense form to receive reimbursement. Expense forms received
beyond the two (2) month deadline will not be reimbursed unless arrangements in advance of the deadline have
been made with management and reasons for late submission are deemed by management to be outside of the
control of the employee submitting the expense (i.e., steel-toed shoes during probationary period).
In the event that you are requested to use your personal vehicle for any business travel (i.e., another facility,
training, business errand, etc.), Purity Life will provide you with $0.48 per required km travelled. The purpose of
this amount is to cover gas, insurance, and any wear/tear incurred due to the travel.
In order to have your expense report processed in a timely manner, you must have the approved expense
report to payroll no later than Monday by 4 o’clock. Payments are administered bi-weekly by direct deposit
          through payroll.
          Job Vacancies
          A) Internal Postings
We do our best to post all jobs available at Purity Life on the Purity Life website, intranet and on the Company
job board. In cases where it is believed a current employee could meet the needs of a particular job opening, we
will look to fill the job with an internal candidate in an effort to promote from within as much as possible.
External searches may be conducted at the same time as internal searches to eliminate the loss of time in the
event that no employee is interested in the new posting or does not meet the job requirements.
          B) External Postings
Courtesy postings will be made in conjunction with an outside search in cases where the necessary skills are not
          readily available within Purity Life.
          Security/Cameras
All Purity Life employees will receive a key fob for entering the facility. Purity Life has an alarm/security service as
well as a secure door-access system. No one is allowed on the premises before or after hours unless they have
a password and are trained to deactivate the alarm system. In addition, all non-employees should enter through
the front door and are required to sign in (drivers for pickup should sign in at the back). Giving your password
or secure door-access key to others will result in disciplinary action. When you come in after hours, you must
sign the posted sheet located at the entrance. This process must be completed to verify who has entered the
          office at all times.
The last person leaving the building at the end of the day must ensure that all windows and doors are locked and
that the alarm is engaged. Designated employees lock all entry doors to the office and the upstairs mezzanine.
