6.4.1 Role & Responsibilities of Agency Procurement Boards
The following are role and responsibilities of agency Procurement Boards:
Checking the copy of the registration with the Ministry of Finance,
advertisement invitation to tender, specifications, tender documents (if
necessary), tender schedule provided by the opening of the tender committee
and the technical report.
Review technical and financial capabilities of the tenderer.
To consider and decide on the most advantageous tender taking into account
price, service, use of goods, quantity, quality, delivery / completion, and other
factors related.
If the procurement notice procurement procedures are not in accordance with
regulations. Institutions may decide to re-tendered or take other actions
justified.
To consider and accept the terms of the tender decision was unanimous only
and in accordance with the approved limit.
To consider and accept any quotation that is recommended by the committee
that had a quote of more than RM200,000.00
