Interior Designer
An interior designer is a person who practices the profession of the interior
designing involving furnishing and finishing work usually for prestigious buildings.
Landscape Architect
A landscape is a person who practices the profession of landscaping architecture
involving beatifications of the project internally and or externally by using plants
of all kinds, rocks and other suitable materials and structures to achieve the
objective of landscaping and beatifications.
Contractor
Construction development can only remain at blue-print and drawing board stage
without contractor to actually translate the projects into reality. Contractors can
be divided into the following categories:
a. Main Contractor
A main contractor is a contractor who specializes either in building or civil
engineering work or both. Main contractor enters into a main contract with
the owner/developer for the execution and completion of a construction
contract.
He enters into contracts with nominated sub-contractors and nominated
suppliers and be responsible for due performances of sub-contracts
b. Nominated Sub-contractors
The nominated sub-contractor are specialist contractors nominated by the
owner/developer/architect/engineer. Nominated sub-contractor signs their
respective sub-contracts with the main contractor and performs their
respective duties and responsibilities under such sub-contracts.
Nominated sub-contractors are numerous and varied depending on the
nature and scope of the project. They are generally as follows:
Piling sub-contractors
Plumbing sub-contractors
Air-conditioning sub-contractors
Lift and escalators sub-contractors
