would pressure them from the outside to follow its
pattern. God would work from within them to
transform them. The Holy Spirit would empower the
reformed mind to understand God's will for their
lives.
In what ways can I present my body and mind to
God and yield more fully to the work of the Holy
Spirit?

DAY THREE:

THE BODY OFFERED TO GOD

The two simple initial steps here are, present our
body and our mind to God. As long as we are in this
world, we will live in a human body. Adam and Eve
passed that nature to us. While in this body, we will
contend with the flesh nature. We must daily,
moment-by-moment, decide we will live for Christ
rather than for ourselves. The body will receive its
full redemption at the physical, bodily resurrection.
Until then, we groan from within it and keep it under
the control of our spirit and soul (renewed mind,
submitted will, and disciplined emotions).
How can I better learn to keep my body under the
control of my renewed mind and recreated human
spirit?

DAY FOUR:

THE BODY INDWELT BY GOD

God created the human body. He designed it to
function in this earthly realm. Everything we do in
this life will be from within this body. If we work, we
will use our body. If we raise a family, we will use our
body. If we serve God, we will use our body. If we
pray, we will use our body. If we worship, we will use
