The Legal Process Begins

F
or the first time in two years, I finally had peace. I moved back

to my condo and felt the comfort of being truly at home. I never
felt the house was home. No matter how much I tried to furnish

and decorate it, I never felt the comfort of a home. Leroy always
wanted control over whatever I tried to do in the house; he did not

want the house to have any colors on the wall. So, before I moved
back to the condo, I had the chance to get away from a completely

white house; to paint and re-carpet the condo. I chose the most
soothing colors I could find. I painted my bedroom a soft gold, the

second bedroom a shade of topaz blue, the dining area a deep fuchsia,
and the other living areas were painted in a light gray. The carpet was

gray. I was finally back at home, in my first place. I exhaled.

In February, I had to completely focus on continuing to stabilize

the company. We were having major cash flow problems in the

business. The attorneys' fees were beginning to hit home, hard. We
had begun the process of preparing for dealing with the crazy bimbo's
