The final date and the last time I would see crazy Leroy arrived. I

had Kenneth include in the divorce decree my return to the use of my
sir name, Brown. That was so important to me, it meant I was getting

myself back and I would never be referred to as a Thornburg again.

When we arrived for the hearing, crazy Leroy did not have my
check for the taxes I had paid, crazy Leroy had contacted IRS and they
told him I stilled owed $25. He owed me $8,000. Kenneth approached

his attorney about the check he owed me and the next thing I heard

Kenneth and Leroy’s attorney screaming at each other. I guess there
had to be one last piece of CRAZY from Leroy. When Kenneth left

Leroy’s attorney, he told me they were refusing the payment over the
$25. Kenneth was threatening to report her to the law board. I have

never seen Kenneth lose his cool like that; CRAZY was pulling
Kenneth in. I should have trained Kenneth on CRAZY.

They announced the divorce was final and I stood up and said:
"FREE AT LAST, FREE AT LAST, THANK GOD ALMIGHTY,

I AM FREE AT LAST." The entire courtroom burst into laughter.

I survived crazy Jerome and the restraining order, I survived the

bimbos, and I survived the divorce. I also gained a new commitment

to the Lord and His plans for me. I continued to grow as another test
of crazy appeared over the next two years, which included having
mother institutionalized, kicking her 65 year old crack-head boyfriend

out of her house, placing my childhood home up for sale, dealing with
