at Deborah’s old desk for 8 months.

Thank God for Sam, he was the only one who had some sense of

business, and Jerome was not able to manipulate him. Sam had begun

to see the fight I was battling with both Tyrone and Jerome over their
expensive spending habits. Sam implemented the accounting system
and I was confident in the books and what was being recorded in the

books. I also was confident Jerome could not bully Sam the way he

did the women.

So, for a year and a half, we were all attempting to get along. The

staff had gotten caught up with the craziness and the women chose
sides, which included Jerome and Tyrone. Jerome had manipulated

the staff that way, he had them thinking he had the power over me
and that it was his company. He manipulated them by befriending and

spending time with them during business hours, or because he was the
head of HR, he would take the staff to the movies or play golf. He

thought the company was his playground; he never came to work with
a business agenda. It was always about him.

The project team and Melissa, the woman I continued to believe

was sleeping with Jerome, had such an ugly attitude with me. They felt
they could disrespect me anytime they wanted. I was just biding my
time with those heifers.

Sam accepted a fulltime position with my competitor and former
