               As we work hard to deliver math instruction in rapidly changing circumstances, how
               can we make sure that our responsive new teaching strategies yield steady, reliable

               long-term gains? This session will explore both the importance of promoting and

               monitoring long-term retention and Get More Math as a tool for this purpose.

               Engage in a 3 Act Math task in real time.


               • ACT 1: Ponder a perplexing problem!

               • ACT 2: Plan possible routes to successfully solve it!


               • ACT 3: Proclaim and explain your results to your peers!


               Leave this session ready to be an agent for change in your own classroom by

               implementing some 3 Act Math of your own.
