Thursday 1:45 - 3:00 Session: N20 Pre-K-1 and District Leaders Richland A Room
A Community Forum: Mathematical Thinking and Expression and
Strengthening Kindergarten Readiness
EdVenture will host a forum of agents of change and state leaders to discuss their
findings and recommendations as to how the state can align the necessary resources
and the work of various stakeholders to focus on the poor performance in this
readiness domain. With less than three out of ten children demonstrating readiness
for kindergarten, teachers and schools are wanting solutions and greater support to
make an impact in this area. Small group discussion, along with time for questions
and responses will follow this powerful presentation.
