Gamifying Your Math Classroom
Imagine having an arsenal of interactive, engaging and easy to prep math games that can
accommodate any math concept. This session will share a variety of collaborative math games
that have proven to be highly effective in mastering and reviewing any mathematical concept.
Participants will walk away with strategies to easily and immediately implement. Math can often
become tedious and mundane. Teachers are constantly searching for new ways to review or
present math content. Participants will learn technological and hands on games to integrate
into the math classroom. Participants will be shown how to integrate hands-on, collaborative
math games and challenging technological math games into their daily math lessons.

Problem or Task? You Decide
Participants will distinguish between word problems and mathematical tasks along with
aligning the examples to content and process standards. They will leave with examples of each
type of problem situation.
