                                            Thinking Mathematically Together

Session 32 will be held in the Congaree A Room from 11:10 - 11:35

Formave Assessments to Guide Instrucon and Enhance

                                     Secondary Mathemacs Learning

Formave assessments guide instrucon and increase student achievement by
providing academic feedback to the teacher, the student, and the student’s
caregiver. In this session, atendees will discuss secondary math specific formave

assessments; they will also receive formave assessment resources to use in their
               classroom. Grades 8 - 12

The Power of Quesoning and Invesgaon in the Math

                                                      Classroom

I will illustrate how modifying quesoning methods can boost student thinking,
comprehension, and engagement. Furthermore, I will demonstrate how
integrang inquiry into daily math lessons can build higher-order thinking
               processes. Grades 6 - 12
