Dr. Chandler - The Father of

The 13-year old Boy

Dr. Chandler, the father of the boy who accused Michael
Jackson of child abuse, was a dentist by trade; although he
had hopes and aspirations of becoming a screenplay writer.
Dr. Chandler was born in the Bronx in 1944. Later in his
life he moved to Los Angeles with his then wife, June Chan-
dler. Dr. Chandler's marriage to June ended in divorce in 1985,
and sole custody of their son was awarded to June Chandler.
Dr. Chandler's earlier dental profession started going
downhill as a result of numerous lawsuits filed against his
dental practice. He then moved and set up his practice in
Beverly Hills and was successfully operating that practice at
the time of the child molestation allegations.
Dr. Chandler continued to pursue his dream of becoming
a successful screenplay writer, and as I mentioned earlier, co-
wrote the Mel Brooks film, Robin Hood: Men In Tights. He ex-
perienced some degree of success with this movie and had a
desire to have more of a controlling interest in another such
project. In order to do this he needed a substantial amount of
money.
Initially Dr. Chandler welcomed his son's friendship with
Michael Jackson, even allowing Michael Jackson to stay at his
house with his son. But all that began to change as the 13-year
old boy and his family grew closer to Michael Jackson. It was
speculated that Dr. Chandler became increasingly jealous over
