The Mother and Step-Father

of the 13-year old Boy

June Schwartz, at times referred to as June Chandler, is the
mother of the 13-year old boy who accused Michael Jackson of
sexual misconduct. Her then husband, David Schwartz, owned
the Rent-A-Wreck facility where Michael Jackson and the 13-
year old boy first met.
Dave Schwartz played a strategic role in recording a con-
versation with Dr. Chandler, which was played throughout
the world and gave a better understanding as to Dr. Chandler's
motive for launching the false allegations. Dr. Chandler later
filed a lawsuit against June and David Schwartz, alleging in-
vasion of privacy and other charges as a result of the secretly
recorded conversation.
In his complaint, Dr. Chandler accused David Schwartz of
recording his conversation and giving it to a third party. David
Schwartz, on the other hand, contends that he recorded his
conversation with Dr. Chandler because of previous threats
made by Dr. Chandler to kill his entire family, including the
children. During the case I was often confused about the ap-
parent on and off battles between Dr. Chandler and June and
David Schwartz, because when the child molestation allega-
tions surfaced they were all meeting together behind closed
