Appoints New Chief
Executive Officer
JFK Medical Center North Campus has named Ashley
Vertuno, FACHE, to Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Ashley brings a wealth of experience to the role, most
recently serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at
Westside Regional Medical Center since 2017. Prior to

Administrator over orthopedic and neurosurgery service lines at Desert Regional
Medical Center in Palm Springs, CA. Ashley received her undergraduate degree in
Business Administration and Management from Virginia Commonwealth University,
and her Master in Health Administration from the University of South Carolina. Ashley
is an elected Regent Fellow, and member of the American College of Healthcare
Executive.
MorseLife Hospice and Palliative Care Names
Pamela McCorry, MA, M.DIV to Chaplain Chair
MorseLife Hospice and Palliative Care has promoted Pamela McCorry, M.A., M.DIV,
to the newly created Chaplain Chair. She joined the not-for-profit in May 2019 as spir-
itual care coordinator and clinical pastoral counselor.
Prior to joining MorseLife Hospice and Palliative Care, McCorry served as a social
worker for Darcy Hall Skilled Nursing Facility in West Palm Beach. A resident of Rivera
Beach, McCorry received her undergraduate degree in psychology from City University
of New York, a master of arts in psychiatry and religion from Union Theological
Seminary in New York City and a master’s in pastoral counseling from Drew University
in New Jersey. She held a clinical pastoral education residency at Stamford Medical
Center in Connecticut and holds certifications for effective counseling for veterans and
as a spiritual guidance counselor.

People who know Healthcare, know BDO. Center appoint Michelle Cartwright, CPA, as their new
Chief Financial Officer. Cartwright is currently the CFO of
Tenet sister hospitals, St. Mary’s Medical Center and the Michelle Cartwright
Palm Beach Children’s Hospital. Cartwright has held finan-
cial leadership positions at St. Mary’s Medical Center & Palm Beach Children’s Hospital
for more than a decade. Prior to being named CFO, she was a senior accountant, and
then promoted to the role of assistant controller. Cartwright was later promoted to con-
troller, and then to the CFO position at the hospital. She has helped lead growth initia-
tives for the highly acute and specialized services the hospitals offer. Cartwright received
her Bachelor’s Degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and went on to earn her
Master’s Degree in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University, and is a licensed
Florida CPA .
