PERSONAL MAIL AND FAXES
Personal mail, packages or faxes should not be sent to the
Company. Since the Company receives a high volume of
deliveries and communications, it is not possible to safeguard,
store or deliver personal mail and other communications for
employees. Please have all packages and correspondence of
a personal nature sent to your home address. The Company is
not responsible for misplaced, lost, stolen or damage items.
CELLULAR PHONES, CAMERAS, VIDEO AND OTHER
ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Due to the confidential nature of our business, all employees
must take reasonable steps to protect company and customer
information. The following guidelines are meant to provide
clarity on the use of personal cell phones, cell phone cameras,
cameras, video recorders and other electronic communication
devices by Tegra employees in the workplace.
The use of personal cell phones, cell phone cameras, cameras, video recorders and other
electronic communication devices such as “smart watches” for making phone calls,
texting, taking photographs, videos or any other usage while on production floor is not
permitted. This also applies to unsecured production/warehouse break room areas.
Personal cell phones, cell phone cameras, cameras, video recorders and other electronic
communication devices must be stored in an employee’s work locker or outside of the
workplace. Unauthorized photography taken inside the workplace or outside of the
facility on company property is strictly prohibited. Noncompliance with this policy may be
grounds for immediate termination of employment.
Employees may use cell phones, cell phone cameras, cameras and other electronic
communication devices during lunch periods and away from the workplace.
In the event of a personal emergency, an employee may be contacted through our front
office during normal working hours. The nature of the emergency will be verified prior to
notifying the employee of the emergency call.
CELLULAR PHONE USE WHILE DRIVING. Employees with Company-provided cell
phones must refrain from using their phone while driving. Safety must come before
all other concerns. Regardless of the circumstances, including slow or stopped traffic,
employees should proceed to a safe location off the road and safely stop the vehicle
before placing or accepting a call. If acceptance of a call is absolutely necessary while
the employee is driving, the employee must use a hands-free option and advise the
caller that he/she is unable to speak at that time and will return the call shortly. Under no
circumstances should employees feel that they need to place themselves at risk to fulfill
business needs.
