5 types of functional training

               Core stabilizer
This is best described as being able to engage or control your core
               Plyometrics
Is the ability to increase your strength of your fast twitch fibers.
               Isometric exercises
Contraction of a group of muscles or a muscle and the joint muscle doesn’t change during contraction
               Metabolic training
Metabolic training is hybrid of anaerobic strength training and aerobic cardio exercises
               Unilateral training
These are single leg or single arm movements

               Explosive training

Explosive training is a form of training that increases human movement performance when done
correctly and safely. Muscle fibers and muscle power increase when training explosively

The aim of explosive training is to move heavy objects like weights very quickly, safely and without
injuring yourself, in a very short time frame depending on your training routine. Explosive training is all
               about speed, strength and power

               Functional training benefits
               - Increase athletic movement
               - Strengthens core muscles
               - Mimic real-life movement
               - Increases strength and endurance
               - Improves balance and coordination
               Functional exercises improve performance

               Explosive training benefits

               - Improved reaction time
               - Enhanced cardiovascular function
               - Increased strength
               - Calorie burn
               - Improved efficiency of movement
