Recruitment of Employees
• Focus on recruiting both faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds.
1. Actively seek at least one candidate of diversity when a position is open; consider the candidacy
of at least one person of diversity during a search. Advertise to attract candidates of diverse
backgrounds.
2. Discuss the school's commitment to diversity with all candidates. Offer candidates of diversity
the opportunity to talk with an employee of diversity.
3. Find ways to promote Renbrook to the public sector.
a. Continue to develop outreach programs.
b. Use alums, parents, and faculty as resources.
c. Contact community groups, not only for recruitment purposes but also in other appropriate
circumstances.
