Harassment Policy
Renbrook School is enriched by the diversity of its students. The school recognizes and respects individual
differences in background in regards to culture, race, ethnic origin, religion, gender, and sexual orientation.
In order to provide an environment of mutual respect, acceptance, and sensitivity, it is important that every
member of the community recognize certain guidelines for appropriate behavior. That includes unwelcomed
physical advances, unwarranted verbal remarks, derogatory statements or discriminatory comments, and can

Harassment of a person based on the person's race, color, religious creed, age, gender, gender identity or
expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, disability, or sexual orientation is illegal.
Sexual harassment is defined as unwelcome or unwanted conduct of a sexual nature, (verbal or physical)

hiring, evaluation, promotion or other aspects of employment; or (2) sexual conduct by others substantially

environment.
Examples of sexual harassment include but are not limited to the following activities when they are unwelcome
