D.2 Multiple Intelligence

This topic has been thoroughly discussed in great detail in my first reflection (refer to

               Appendix A).

Section V. Learning Styles and Values

               E.1 Learning Style

Learning styles refers to the concept of every student having his/her own way of learning.

To break it down, learning styles are composed of three principle components; Visual Learning,
Auditory Learning, and Tactile Learning. According to a survey I took from ‘Career Studies 10,’
I am an auditory learner, but not by a big stretch. According to the survey I am 37% visual
(31/84), 36% auditory (30/84), and 27% tactile (24/84). Looking at the percentages alone, there
is not much of a difference between them, which is something I view as an important advantage.

Having no dominant style will allow me to be much more flexible in terms of adapting to
different teachers and mentors throughout my life. This way, if there is a concept I cannot get the
grasp of, I know that looking or trying to learn it from a different style has the potential to
improve my understanding. Since I am taking part of a business club such as DECA in high
school, being an auditory learner will pose a great advantage, as most scenarios from a business
perspective tend to be in the form of conversations or audio presentations where the visuals are
merely a formality. Having an almost equal range of learning styles makes me versatile and helps
me become more flexible for a wide range of jobs and occupations. As an equally visual learner,

a career that I could possibly consider would be Graphic Designing. This is because being as
visual thinker means I have the ability to think three-dimensionally, and can look at things from
multiple perspectives, whether it be how people perceive the work I create, or simply in terms of
the elements of art/principles of design. All in all, by identifying my learning styles, I have the
potential to use that information to maximize the benefits in high school and wherever else I may

               learn in the future.

               E.2 Work Values

This topic has been thoroughly discussed in great detail in my second reflection (refer to

               Appendix B).
