Process maps provide a visual representation of the processes by
which a product or transaction is processed.
Benefits include:
aid management understanding
aid role understanding
highlights opportunities to standardise processes
highlight inefficiencies
support corporate initiatives.
4.3 Product/ service development
An organisation needs to continually develop its products/ services in order to
achieve or maintain competitive advantage.
The stages in product/ service development are:
