                               which a product or transaction is processed.



               Benefits include:

                    aid management understanding

                    highlights opportunities to standardise processes

                    highlight inefficiencies

                    support corporate initiatives.


               4.3   Product/ service development

               An organisation needs to continually develop its products/ services in order to
               achieve or maintain competitive advantage.
