But the reward became self-evident. Our customers appreciated the fact that
when they asked for edits or a website update, we would promise a turnaround
time, and do our best to meet it or deliver it BEFORE the promised date. No one
else was crazy enough to give that kind of support in our industry.
Truth be told, most customers didn’t abuse this privilege. They gave us what they
needed done and that was that. It was truly a ‘win-win’ for them and for us. It fit
with our whole philosophy of under-promising and over-delivering.
It turns out that this single Unique Selling Point, this little sliver of greatness, is
one of the major reasons why people clients partnered with us to begin with - and
ended up staying with us for many years. It turned out to be a great part of our
company.
