New Matter Intake
• Entity Type is a dropdown.
o Choose Person or Organization based upon the party being added -or-
o Type P or O and the word will auto fill.
• If the Entity is a Person, enter the First Name and Last name.
o Do not include a middle initial.
o If including a suffix, enter the suffix in the Last Name field.
o Example: "Smith, M.D. or Smith IV"
• If the Entity is Organization, enter the Organization Name.
• Relationship.
o Choose Relationship based upon the party being added by using the dropdown -or-.
o Type in part of the word and the word will auto fill.
o One row must have Party Client Represents as the Relationship.
• Role is always Other.
o Type O and the word will auto fill.
• How Party Relates.
o Not a required field. The field can be used to identify which vehicle (ex. V1 Driver, V1 passenger, V2
Driver, V2 passenger), if the person is deceased, or information about the manufacturer.
o Do NOT include the insurance company name of any related parties! VIN Numbers and Insurance
Companies are to be entered in the Description of Loss field.
• If there is more than one party name, select Add on the blue bar.
• If there are too many rows, select the empty row to be removed so that the row shows in yellow, and select
Remove on the blue bar.
• Double check spelling. These fields flow through to Conflicts and it is imperative that the spelling be correct!
Party Client Represents
• Type in the party the client represents.
• Verify this name has been entered as a Related Party. If not already, enter the name as a Related Party. It is
important to have the party in both places.
• Enter the PCR Contact and Phone No. if applicable:
