THE JAZZ SIPPER
said thanks my man, I owe you more than you will ever know. And he dap
Raheem up.
Once Regina finished talking to Vance, Regina came up with a plan. The
plan was to have Dee Dee call Dave, the crazy man and tell him that she had
his money. And, she would be at the room in the motel where they usually
meet. Dave, the crazy man agreed to meet her within two hours, Regina and
Dee Dee took off towards the motel. Regina told Dee Dee to stop at any store
that sold small tape recorders. Then, Regina wrote out a check from her and
Vance business in the amount of twenty-five thousand, that’s how much the
crazy man wanted from Dee Dee every month. Regina thought she was
thinking pretty straight, her plan was to give the guy the check and secretly
record him confessing that he was blackmailing Dee Dee. They would use the
taped confession to blackmail him, thus ending his blackmailing of Dee Dee.
Regina would be hiding in the closet, which would be left slightly open. Also,
she had her bear mace ready to go and Dee Dee had a taser gun nearby just
in case the situation turned bad. When they stopped to get the tape recorder,
Vance and Raheem were trying to figure out what they were up to. They
started moving again; after they had been driving for a while they pulled into
the Comfort Inn at the JFK Airport 14436 153rd Lane, Jamaica New York. The
motel was a five story high-rise building. Regina and Dee Dee parked and
went inside. Vance and Raheem waited for about 10 minutes to see what was
going on. Raheem entered the motel first making sure it was clear for Vance
to follow. Once inside Vance and Raheem went to work, they found out which
room Regina and Dee Dee were in and they reserved the room right across
the hall from them. Raheem suggested that they get one of the maids to go
inside Dee Dee and Regina’s room and find out what was happening in there.
