THE JAZZ SIPPER
last breathe my man, I got your back.” After about fifteen minutes of waiting
in silence Raheem and Vance heard the elevator bell ring, indicating that
someone was getting off on that floor. Raheem motioned to Vance to get
ready; Raheem stuck one finger up in the air letting Vance know that there
was only one person coming. All of sudden the sound of someone walking
stopped cross the hall at Dee Dee and Regina’s room and began knocking on
the door. Suddenly Raheem swung open the door and began moving with the
speed, force and agility of a 10 foot 600 pound Siberian tiger. And Vance was
moving with the same speed, force and agility; just like tigers they had laid in
wait and crept close enough to attack their victim with a quick spring and a
fatal pounce. Raheem hit Dave low and Vance hit him high. They hit their
target at the same exact time with so much force that the impact propelled
Dave’s body through the slighted jarred open door, knocking Dee Dee down
because she was standing behind door.
Dave was still knocked out from the impact. Vance and Raheem were
moving in silence like two warriors who have been in battle together many
times. As quick as Dee Dee begun screaming, Raheem cuffed his big hand
over her mouth and was telling her “we are here to protect you, relax.” At
about that time Regina came from out of the closet, she was visibly shaken,
surprise, happy and scared all at the same time. Vance did not have time to
greet her and his conversation consisted only of demands to Regina. Vance
said, you and Dee Dee go across the hall into our room and shut the door,
wait there. Now! He said Regina. She grabbed Dee Dee’s hand and
disappeared into the room across the hall as Vance had demanded. When
Dave came to from Raheem pouring cold water onto his face and head, he
realized he was gaged, hog tied and striped down to his underwear and socks.
