I'm following the training program
but I don't seem to be losing weight.
5 reasons why you may no be losing weight: You are not matching your nutrition to your training:
when we drastically decrease our caloric intake (putting our bodies in a large deficit), this
automatically signals the body to go into stress mode & the body will therefore begin to hold on to fat
stores.
You are not getting enough sleep: when our sleep is not adequate, we are really putting our fat loss
to a halt. Not enough sleep equals to not enough recovery, and increases cortisol levels (hormone
involved in the regulation of metabolism) which also makes our body hold on to fat stores. So make
sure you are getting at least 8 hours every night.
Unmanaged stress levels: Stress plays a lot with hormonal balance & hormonal balance has
everything to do with fat loss & health. So practice and find ways that help destress your mind and 35
body and be sure to make time for it EVERY day. Things like meditation can really help. Meditation is
not only for religion purposes, it is a great technique to becoming more mindful and creating an area
where you feel the most peaceful.
Your are training, yet haven't yet utilized your nutrition program. Remember that nutrition counts for
up to 80% of your results!
You are not fully adhering to the program: Consistency is key to reach any goal. If you are following
the program correctly, there's absolutely no way you will not see results. But remember to also give it
some time and to ease into it!
