Maxwell gave details about the law of process much more than the other.
Because this law seems much important for every skillful leader who can strive for a
long journey. He made it clear about this law by concerning about two well-known
th
people: heavyweight champ Joe Frazier and fan of boxing: the 26 President of the
United States of America Theodore Roosevelt. Both become the people who can live
by the law of process effectively as his observing. The law of process is the law of
investment, and preparation. So, he continued to affirm that boxing is a good example
for every leader. Because no matter one was born naturally with great talent, everything
has to prepare daily before fighting in the ring. Without it, no one can becomes a
champion overnight. If one wants to know about how someone becomes a champion,
he must learn about his daily routine. Believe it or not, everyone has the potential to
become successful. But it requires some effort, striving to achieve it. Absolutely no one
can deny the law of process.
4) The Law of Navigation
This law also seems the law of preparation for the followers in the long
journey. In most of every difficult situation, the cooperators usually depend on the
leaders even when they have to face the life and death situation. A good leader must
have a clear vision of what are the difficulties, and problems that are going to happen
through his journey in every perspective from beginning to end. To become a successful
journey, leaders must prepare these such as learning on experience, examine the
situation before leading them, receive the opinion of the others to make sure, collecting
previous information, and he or leader must represent both faith and fact for the
cooperators.
Hence, as Leroy Eims mentioned that “A leader is one who sees more than
71
others see, who sees farther than others see, and who sees before others do.” Maxwell
also observed that “Anyone can steer the ship, but it takes a leader to chart the course.”
