X. FACULTY, Non-TEACHING PERSONNEL and STUDENTS
A. Faculty (Basic Education School, Senior High School & College Department)
The Faculty Manual and College Faculty Manual outlines the definition of faculty, faculty
qualifications and requirements, the system of hiring, appointment, ranking, retention, promotions, rights
and duties, and the Code of Ethics of Professional Teacher.
The Instructional Leaders (College Dean and Director, and the School Principal), together with the
Program Heads and Level Coordinators, is responsible for the faculty of each unit. The Instructional
Leader has a special responsibility to inspire, encourage and provide faculty development opportunities,
such as graduate and postgraduate degree programs or short-term courses and training for the faculty,
in coordination with Human Resources Development and Management Office. It is also a special function
of the Instructional Leader to facilitate research and extension service for and by the faculty.
B. Non-Teaching Personnel
The Non-Teaching Personnel Manual layout the procedures for employment, retention, evaluation,
transfer, benefits and services, working conditions for non-teaching personnel of the school. The Non-
Teaching Personnel are supervised by the different office heads and administrators according to their
functions and areas of responsibility.
C. Students
The Student Manual defines the rights and responsibilities of students. It also describes the
opportunities and conditions necessary for active participation of students in the school’s co-curricular
and extra-curricular activities.
The school aims to provide high quality education designed to nurture highly-skilled, well
rounded and confident life-long learners to be productive contributors of the global society. The
curriculum goals is to integrate into the students’ learning all the human functions of spiritual, socio-
cultural, physical, and intellectual. Students are encouraged to respond creatively to practical or artistic
stimuli, to communicate sound ideas effectively and to interact with other members of the academic
community. The Instructional Leaders are responsible for the academic and non-academic formation of
students with the assistance of the Student Development and Services that coordinates student activities
in the school.
