CALL FOR PROPOSALS - CONCEPT NOTE
a. Role in the project
What is the partner’s role and responsibility in the project? How will the project benefit from
including this partner in the proposal?
EIVA is a non-governmental organization established to develop educational projects aiming to
increase social and civic participation of young people and adults.
Main thematic areas are:
- Educational programs for youths and adult learners
- Non formal education activities & board games center
- Intercultural education & Human Rights Education
- Organizational development & NGO networking
EIVA has a strong expertise in working with trainers and educators as well as in non formal
education methodology.
During each project they develop activities to raise awareness among young people about
their strengths and the possibility to grow at personal and professional level. They provide
training and support for social integration, personal development, and access to creative and
leisure time opportunities.
EIVA role in the project:
1. Engage public (University, Social Assistance Directorate, Anti drug Centre, School
Inspectorate and Schools) and private entities (mostly NGO's) related to the field.
2. EIVA has practice and the authorization for training the trainers, and once a group of
experts from their partnership structure is trained on the method, they will form another
group of experts.
3. Through research they found that IPS method is not implemented in Romania yet.
4. EIVA will create the working groups in order to involve NEETs into the counselling
process and later in IPS implementation. They will mobilize experts who are
psychologists, working as a support structure for the public school system.
