first comes to mind when I am reminded what this
book is all about, because its meaning goes beyond
polite and prompt government service.

The BPLD has surely done its part as one of the city
government’s key movers in terms of efficiency
and exemplary government service. This digital
transformation defines Quezon City as a major
destination for investments and trade not only in the
country but also in the Asia-Pacific region.

The journey to automation has been paved well
with the BPLD’s Online Unified Business Permit
Application System, encouraging people to transact
online so tedious paperwork can be eliminated.

As we weather the crisis brought by the pandemic, it
is still business as usual here in Quezon City. In my
capacity as Vice Mayor and presiding officer of
the Quezon City Council, we fully support BPLD's
