“Amateur science really!” Liam adds fiddling with his watch.

I turn my watch off and Elaine orders everyone to grab what we need and to

               begin heading to the hanger.

In the hanger we are split into two teams and escorted into two

helicopters. Helena, Elaine and I occupy one and Liam, Alex and Caspian go into

the second. We will land in the same vicinity but we’re not expected to see each

               other until the second checkpoint.
I go over the mission in my head inputting every detail I can into a strategic

plan. We land at Syndrome headquarters and travel 500m to the first checkpoint

clearing out every mutant or other obstacle we encounter. Then secure the check

point and wait for team two to secure theirs on the other side of the building. Once

both teams have their checkpoint secured we call for backup from the department.

They’ll have countless soldiers that will keep the checkpoints secured and safe

while more troops make it to the battlefield. We all advance to checkpoint two in

front of the lab, secure the area and meet up with group two. Then from there we

charge the headquarters and do as much damage as we can. We aren’t here to

really destroy HQ but if we can get incriminating evidence that Dr. Taylor’s

research is inhumane, his public opinion will become more negative, which is what

we want. The less collateral damage we do in the process the better. Who knows,

maybe my dad is in there waiting for us to show up and take control of us all.

                       Chapter 12

The chopper doors open and we burst out. I put up a shield over us all but it

won't last long in these conditions.
