Page 93 - Fallen Thoughts
P. 93

“Thank you-,” I begin but I’m interrupted by the sound of the bindings being

               released.

“Holy mother of rectangles let's get the hecky heck out of here!” Liam

               pleads while rubbing his wrists.

“What the hell did you just say?” Caspian questions.
“That’s not important right now, listen team,” Elaine demands while taking

her seat. “We have been asked by the Ballistics Department to help put a stop to

               Syndrome Sciences.”

“Don’t they know we are trying to do that?” Alex queries.
“Ya Elaine we don’t need their help!” Caspian adds in.

The team continues to bicker over helping our kidnappers or continuing to

be uselessly independent. I still don’t fully trust these people but I trust my team

so whatever they pick I’ll go along with. Besides my sister seems to want to help

them and I am biased to her.
I reach for one of the folders upon the table and begin to peruse through it.

Blah blah blah mission briefing yaddy yaddy yadda.
The folder contains information about Syndrome Laboratories and other

facts pertaining my father. Apparently this site is off the grid and untraceable due

to the interference of the desert and the government's aid. How convenient.

I keep flipping through but am stopped by an image of Lucas.
