Leader of the vigilante group Deviants. Safeguard was one of the first

successful experiments created by Dr. Taylor and therefore one of the most

unstable due to the neurological chip being a prototype. Safeguard

possesses Absorption Science powers where 90% of a blast of energy from a

weapon or explosion will ricochet off him. The other 10% still will affect

him.

Weakness: Behavior can become erratic due to chip instability. Over use of

powers greatly increase this.
The entirety of Deviants have similar profiles. They’ve been planning this

for a while.
